GCC eGovernment Ministerial Committee to hold meeting in Bahrain tomorrow
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Electronic Governmental Ministerial Committee will hold its fifth meeting in the Kingdom of Bahrain on Wednesday.
At the beginning of the meeting, the ministers will launch Internet Protocol (IP) Reputation system, which enables Computer Emergency Response Centers in the GCC States to monitor and track down suspicious Internet addresses around the world to prevent threats from these addresses.
The Committee will also discuss topics pertaining to public key infrastructure (PKI) and GCC technical services aimed at enhancing the role of e-government in serving the citizens of the GCC countries and improving services being provided for them easily through a safe and efficient environment.
